Waynieoaks soundtrack
At the end of 2001, it was decided to put together a soundtrack to the year and the Waynieoaks albums were born. The criteria for music to be added to a soundtrack was simple. The song had to have a particular association with Waynieoaks for the year in question. Either because it was a song that was heard at a particular time or event, was popular with the crowd at the time or because the lyrics fitted with the stuff that happened and emotions surrounding them.
These soundtracks were continued until 2006, when most of the people associated with Waynieoaks had drifted apart and the collation of songs stopped. A final album, which was to be called "Waynieoaks - infinity" is planned to be the end of the collection.  While none of these albums were ever made, thanks to the wonders of modern technology it is possible to buy the songs as MP3s directly from Amazon.co.uk to put the soundtracks together yourself. Some songs, however are unfortunately not available for download but may be found via iTunes or other MP3 download sites.
